Both complex scenarios are based on actual incidents and are full of interesting learning objectives for crisis negotiation teams. The teams in each competition will use the same scenario. Teams will be judged by experienced peers and subject matter experts using a 10-category format including ‘Intelligence Management’, ‘Communication’, ‘Risk Assessments’, and ‘Documentation’. A maximum of seven teams may register for each competition. All teams will provide one experienced member for the judges' pool. Up to six team members may compete in the scenarios, and additional team members are encouraged to observe, facilitate, or role-play.
